802.1Q VLAN allow you to set the segment network traffic and improve performance and manageability.

Multiple Port Trunks -- you can combine up to 8(2) 10/100Mbps(1000Mbps) ports into a trunk to create a 1600Mbps(4000Mbps) full duplex aggregated bandwidth to connect to a server or another switch.
